Eternally Searching Internally

Circling

Up here in the clouds

Looking for a sign

Brief stray from reality

Day to day life

Now back to the present one

High in the clouds waiting

Trying to open this closed mind

Let it see and understand

The unexpected occurrences

To which it shall face

Confusion and bewilderment

Lead me off, gone astray

I have found it

This sign far off

Away in the distance

Waiting to be attained

I grasp for it in vain

It has slipped through

Found a hole to escape

And elude my longing

I'll try again

'Till I reach this consciousness

State of mind

Then I'll free it

Move on to the distance

Seek out new, different ways

To carry myself on

Up higher, freer

Past these clouds

Fogging my mysterious mind

Into the open space

Its out there somwhere

I'll keep flying

Spread my wings and soar

With the breeze engulfing my

Trying to hinder my cause

It can't stop me

This mind is searching

Trying to find a way

I will emerge wise

And close these tired wings

Find legs to walk

It's time.
