Why is this all so fake

Nothing is real anymore

As things get heavy they break

Into a state of innsecurity

Where lies are all thats left

Why can't this all be real

Life is much too confusing now

Reality is just a word to them

And they neglect the purer things

They don't realize true happiness

This lies within and is waiting

It has eluded me now

And I beg for it back

Depression tightens its reigns

Trying to control my every move

I'm continually fighting it in vain

It reigns and overpowers me

And manipulates my actions

Life is short they say

So live it to its extent

Embrace it daily

For there may not be a tomorrow

This may be our ends

So lets go learn to fly

Greet the clouds with a song

A song for eternity

It's name shall be happiness

It's chorus will echo reality.
