Love of Nights

Moonlight dances on the water

Like glitter in the breeze

As my eyes sail quickly

Searching the seas

My head swims in darkness

Yet still remains mine

So I look to the horizon

For some distant sign

I see a mystical sunrise

Surpassing all of time

My heart races westward

Crossing the globe

To some love that I've lost

Or am yet to behold

Alone in the ocean

It's just a matter of time

'Till I return home again

And try to make her mine

My lifes now unchanging

For six months time

I wait to kiss mountains

Filled with redwood and pine

And to dance in the forest

Free of all spite

Just cling to my love

For the rest of my nights.
