Sea Of Desires

As the days grow longer

My heart grows tired

Expending all my love nowhere

Just hoding to my hopes

Wishing it upon someone

I cry out loud to her

And hope she recalls my name

Hers has brought me out of darkness

But left me naught but pain

Alone upon the waves for now

I pray to soon go home

I long to walk a winding trail

And sleep where I belong

High upon a mountain top

Where none but I can go

Just watching the moon roll over me

As stars fly to and fro

Searching for some hidden peace

Not yet knowing where it lies

I'll be there soon I pray, I know

Soaring throught the skies

Moving freely onward

Making full my life

A downward spiral carries me

In whirlpools of desire

Shedding tears of pain and joy

I long to be reprieved

Remove my longing and regret

To set my mind at ease

My life is like a maze

Have I gone astray

I will complete it somehow

I'll just have to wait for now.
