The Goddess That Will Never Be

Her hair falls like rain

Down her sleek figure

Her eyes are like stars

Lighting the clear dark sky

She stands like a goddess

Below the pale light of the new moon

She is the one the only I feel for

And she won't be mine

I am simple

I am not good enough in her eyes

Though I know

I would treat her right

Like a goddess.
