Trapped In Darkness

Silent gaze in utter dark

Struggling to locate, what

Where is the light

Why am I so alone here

Can I reach something familiar

Emtiness engulfing me

This dark emptiness has got me

I can't free myself

Where is the light

What have I lost

I must retain it or

Or I don't really know

What is going to happen

Am I dead

That mya explain

No it can't be

I must live on

Fight for my life

Yes my life will light the way

Slowly sometimes unsure

But always true

True to me

To the path I must follow

Destination unknown

I'm not worried though

Happiness is the key

You need no more then it

To live a soul enlightening life

Money corrupts, it means nothing

People mean more then dollars

To some they don't

They shall soon find true fear

Self inflicted

They can live in the dark

When they can realize why

Then they too shall have the key

The key to life
